The Site Search Box feature at AutoMapIt is an excellent tool to help your visitors find what they want on your website. In this search engine, your website always comes up #1 because it is filled with your pages and only your pages. You can try out an example of it to the right and search for anything that you might find on AutoMapIt... rss, ror, sitemaps, search engine, good code, upload, website, webmaster, support, contact, XML... Anything that you want to know about AutoMapIt, but haven't been able to find.

The top image used on our search can be replaced with your own image and the color scheme can be set to match your website. The search results used when people enter a search are updated every time the spider runs on your website to create sitemaps so you'll always have the latest info in your search box without having to manually update the results yourself. Updating the results with your latest content uses no more bandwidth on your site than creating your sitemaps because we update your sitemaps at the same time that we update your search results in one pass.

We use our own proprietary search algorithm to return the most relevant results at the top of list. This will help your visitors to find the most appropriate pages on your website when they are searching for something in particular. The HTML code is very easy to setup on your page meaning that you can start using this as soon as our spider is finished crawling your website.

The basic search is ready now with more advanced customization and features coming soon. Basic membership will store up to 10 top keywords per page on your website and upgraded memberships will store up to 25 top keywords per page. Common words such as "a, and, the, your, ..." are automatically avoided in order to find better keywords for our database.
